I first met the CEOs of Inked Bread Company in 2016, they were promoting their product in local restaurants and stores. Their team knew they had something that consumers would love and a product that would grow organically.
Fast forward to 2024 and their product can be found in over 20 stores in Orange County alone and the business has expanded to locations throughout the islands of Hawaii. Whole Foods, Mothers Market, and Costco are just a few of the national supermarkets that sell this organic brand.
I worked directly with the owners, creating marketing materials to promote their brand. My mission focus was direct marketing, showcasing the passion these men had in their business. Pop up shops were utilized to impart brand and product information to their target audience and generate interest in a future purchase.
My main attraction towards "BCS" was the different kinds of people who join the games in Huntington Beach. From newcomers to ex-professional athletes, you see all sports levels join in on the fun each week being competitive in the best way possible.
Seeing those from such diverse backgrounds interact and get to know one another is honestly the most interesting aspect of these community events. The lifelong friendships made might not have been possible without attending these sports events (I've even made some as well) and I believe there's a certain appreciation we can all have towards any group that brings people together.
This video shows a quick look at the incredible people who take time out of their
holiday to give back to those in need. Community Events such as this one, touch the lives of the homeles and beyond.
In early November, I was invited to spend Thanksgiving day with this organization. The organizers thought it best if this time I went on a ride along, to show the impact these meals actual have on the homeless. I chose to not show many faces of those receiving as to not highlight their struggles, instead making sure we see the hearts of those choosing to spend their holiday giving back through community events such as this one. I had a lot more footage but felt this intimate look at my amazing drivers and helpers is a more impactful message to all.

I got together with Bill Bracken from Brackens Kitchen to document how he and his team are helping the Orange County community.
Bill is a nationally renowned chef with a big heart. He wakes up early and stays out late cooking, preparing, and delivering food to the less fortunate in his big red truck, Betsy. Not only does he feed the people, he connects with them. Many knew him by name and call him Uncle Bill, and he responded with a hello along with their name. I saw him play with the kids, give hugs, and constantly pep talking his team of volunteers, though they didn't need it. The people helping Bill were just as passionate and loved seeing the happy faces of these people who can go some time without food and many who still don't have a home.
This is a reminder to always be grateful for all we have and to make sure to give back when we can. Check out his website and donate! www.brackenskitchen.com
